Katie Scott is a children’s book editor based in Toronto, Canada. Her passions are thought-provoking non-fiction, picture books, and literary middle grade. More generally, she’s interested in books that captivate and inspire a reader’s imagination. She works as a senior editor at Kids Can Press; has sat on the board of directors for IBBY Canada, a non-profit children’s literature and literacy organization; and has twice served on the nomination committee for the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration, including the winning year for the Canadian nomination in 2024.
